Good value full art kit

Solid restoration kit, minor issue

I bought an arcade restoration kit and it generally met expectations. The side art and marquee were well-printed and fit my cabinet perfectly. However, the control panel overlay had a small corner that wasn't perfectly aligned with the cutouts, but it was minor enough I could trim it myself. Customer service was responsive when I had a question about the installation process, which was a plus. Overall, a good experience, but that little alignment issue kept it from being perfect. The t-molding I got with it was great though.

Are their marquees printed on plexiglass or is it just the film? Kinda need a full replacement for my old one.

They do both, I think. My last marquee was just the film, but I've seen options for plexi too, or at least they used to. Check the product description carefully.

My marquee came as a translite film, not on plexiglass. You'd have to mount it yourself. They do offer plexiglass for other parts like control panels though, so it might vary by product.

I've used both. Szabo's vinyl seems a bit thicker and the colors pop more in my experience. Installation felt a bit easier with their stuff too.

Game On is fine, but I prefer Szabo's. The print quality just feels a notch above, especially for detailed art. Plus, I like their selection of classic game art better.

Yeah, depends on where you live too, I think. I'm on the east coast and my last order for a marquee and control panel overlay was like 10-12 days total. They do take a bit for the custom print but shipping itself was quick.

What if the art isn't quite right when it arrives? Can I return custom stuff?

Custom stuff is usually a no-go for returns unless it's their mistake, like a misprint or wrong design. Standard items are easier.

Yeah, I think for custom art, you're pretty much stuck unless they messed up. Always double check your proofs before they print!

They're vinyl, so you need to take your time and use the right tools (squeegee, heat gun for bubbles if needed). It's doable for a beginner but watch some YouTube videos first.

I did my first one with their kit and it went pretty well. Just gotta be patient and clean the surface really well before you start. The material is pretty forgiving if you go slow.
